My design background includes a variety of genres.
Jumping out of the gate as a new designer - a kid mind you - I flourished in creating posters for the Sundance Festival and working for IGT designing slot machine graphics.
My real career starting off as an Art Director in the video game world, my work included national newsstand magazines, annual reports, conference materials and signage. Here I worked for Future Publishing and IDG working with GamePro, GamePlayers, Games Business, The Industry Standard and Business 2.0. (See portfolio magazine images).
I later freelanced for a division of Random House, Prima Games, producing 128-300-page gaming books and using my web background, to code online game books (Assassin’s Creed / Madden). Clients included top industry names in the entertainment field, such as Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun, Pirates of the Caribbean, CSI, etc.), Mountain Hardware, and various gaming creators. I launched new magazines for entrepreneur publishers until I became one myself.
From 2005-2010, I co-owned the national magazine Jane and Jane. That opportunity gave me the ability to sharpen business strategies, explore web advertising, work with fulfillment, subscriptions, conferences, sales and marketing. This was a rewarding part of my career, until it came to a close in 2010. I shifted toward video production, digital media and web design as my future.
Currently working for the state of California, I enjoy spending my extra time shooting video and editing productions. Since most of my main career work is protected by rights, I cannot add them to this site, but I will add other entertainment work to this site slowly
